ADHD- Attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder. Is a very common neurological disorder with more 10 million cases in india per year.
What is ADHD?- adhd is a condition where a child (or adult) finds it difficult to focus, completing tasks , taking decisions, sticking to a routine lacks motivation.
Researchers often define adhd as the result of chemical imbalance in the child's brain that is when enough chemicals are not being secreted or chemicals in brain doesn't function well.

Parts of brain - In an adhd brain parts like basal ganglia, prefrontal cortex, limbic system and reticular activity system all these parts that are responsible for cognitive functions in brain dont work properly.
Researchers mostly opine that the parts like frontal lobe and prefrontal cortex of the brain play the key role in the germination of adhd in a child's brain. These two parts have crucial roles in brain in cases of paying attention, regulating emotions, behavioural changes and decision making etc.

Hormones
In cases of Hormones mainly low regulations of dopamine and norepinephrine in child causes adhd
less secretion if noradrenaline makes it difficult to take decisions .
Obesity and drug abuse may cause due to decreased dopamine levels in ADHD patient
Types of ADHD :there are three types of ADHD
ADHD [PI]- Predominantly inattentive adhd. A person who feels difficult to pay attention, focus and completing a task
ADHD [HI]- Hyperactive impulsive adhd. A person can be impulsive or hyperactive but doesn't struggle to focus.
ADHD [combined]- A common type of adhd, where a person finds it difficult to focus and gets distracted and is also hyperactive and impulsive
